Available at cost price are soft drinks, sparkling wine and imported bottled beer in the fridge, plus a snack basket and selection of local wine. The main homestead is easily contacted for more supplies.

No scheduled breakfast times or public dining rooms

This luxury B&B provides all the ingredients for a hearty breakfast. Just prepare in the fully equipped cottage style kitchen and enjoy whenever it suits. The only choice is whether to eat at the dining table or on the private deck looking over the lake.

On the bench in the kitchen, is a large basket of fruit and a choice of cereals. A loaf of artisan made sour dough bread, homemade jam and Glenlowren honey. Explore the fridge and find yogurt, milk, tomatoes, mushrooms, locally cured bacon and fresh eggs from the friendly farm hens.

Yarra Valley restaurants and cafés

Glenlowren is ten minutes from Yarra Glen and 15 minutes away from Healesville – both are small towns with an eclectic range of eateries. Whether you feel like take away or boutique pub and restaurant foods Yarra Glen and Healesville have a great selection. Being the winery capital of Victoria, the Yarra Valley has many wineries to offer. Most have a restaurant or café where you can indulge in a cheese platter or long lunches with breathtaking views. Glenlowren is closest to those wineries off the Melba Highway such as Fergussons, DeBortoli, MandalaImmerse and Balgownie. An information folder in the cottage lists many other options.
