The Farmstead comfortably sleeps up to 21 guests across 8 distinctive bedrooms and bathrooms:
South Wing
The South Wing presents 4 elegantly appointed bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Complemented by premium linen and carefully selected amenities, every room provides a serene environment for individual relaxation and retreat.
North Wing
The North Wing, including the charming Garden Suite, mirrors the South Wing’s charm with 4 distinctively designed rooms. Each room, including the Garden Suite’s separate entrance and scenic views, delivers an elegant retreat, perfectly balancing shared enjoyment and personal tranquillity.
Communal Spaces & Dining
The heart of The Farmstead is a central common area, a hub for group enjoyment. This space offers dining tables capable of seating 28, perfect for communal meals and celebrations. This area also features a pool table, table tennis table, card tables, and inviting relaxation corners.
Kitchens
To cater to your group’s varied needs, The Farmstead has three fully-equipped kitchens within the North Wing, South Wing, and Garden Suite. These well-appointed kitchens provide everything needed for preparing delicious meals, contributing to the overall comforting atmosphere of your stay at Glenlowren.

The Nissen Hut
This iconic building, filled with natural light, creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that encourages relaxation and contemplation. The Nissen Hut accommodates up to four guests, featuring two spacious ensuite bedrooms, a luxurious lounge area, a sleek modern kitchen and a spa bathroom. Outside, a private landscaped garden and wetlands offer a serene retreat to watch native wildlife.
Settler's Cottage
Secluded by the lake and encased by rolling hills, the 19th-century Settler’s Cottage provides a tranquil haven for your conference guests. This single-bedroom cottage boasts a unique blend of heritage charm and modern amenities, featuring a cosy lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, and a king-sized bed. Whether warming by the log fire in winter or savouring local wine on the veranda in summer, The Cottage provides a peaceful backdrop for reflection and relaxation.
Rates
Our rates range from $2250 to $2700 per night for The Farmstead, depending on the timing and duration of stay. A two-night minimum stay is required and all bookings require a $1500 damage deposit, which is fully refundable if no damage claim is made.
The Farmstead consists of two wings and a common area and is usually booked together as one group accommodation. If you’re interested in booking only one wing, please get in touch with us to discuss options for the dates you are considering.

Cancellation Policy
- 45 days or more: full refund less $200 administration fee.
- 30 to 44 days: 50% refund

Deposit
If the booking is made more than 90 days in advance, a deposit option is available. Please contact Tinne on 0407 345 050 to arrange a 50% deposit payment to secure your booking. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Farmstead at Glenlowren comfortably provides for 8 guests in single occupancy or up to 21 guests in a share arrangement. The Nissen Hut and The Glenlowren Cottage can be booked alongside The Farmstead for larger groups requiring additional accommodation. This effectively expands our capacity to accommodate 11 guests in single occupancy or up to 27 guests on a share basis.
Check-in time for The Farmstead Yarra Valley group accommodation is 4:00 pm, and check-out is 10:00 am.
